Rock against Cancer started in 2012 and takes place in the small village of All Cannings in Wiltshire. As we are based in the village and are huge music fans, the decision to offer our services to this charitable venture took no time at all. We are proud supporters of this cause and have become an integral part of the event.

Programmes, tickets and passes
Sets of passes were created for each event clearly displaying access privileges. Concert tickets not only provide the practical device for entering the event, but also become a souvenir from the concert so consideration was given to these as more long-term pieces. And for substantial merchandise, we created 56pp programmes whch gave details of the event but also featured some of the amazing photography from previous events.

Website and eMarketing
The website had to be a showcase for all the Rock against Cancer events, a point of information for the current event and provide latest news items which were replicated via Twitter and Facebook. With a superb range of professional photography, the site could convey an accurate feel for the event. Originally set up as a one-stop for online tickets, we then moved this element out to TicketSource which gave us more flexibility for ticket scanning and reporting.

Posters and banners
Even though e-marketing and social media play a huge part in advertising the concert events, a local physical presence is essential. Vinyl banners which ranged in size from barrier railing format up to some which were displayed on static farm trailers, were used leading up to the events. And the humble flyers and posters are still a fantastic way to share information as handouts, leave behinds and shop window displays. The design ensured that from A5 up to A1 these posters stood out.

Vehicle graphics
Volunteers and suppliers kindly offered Concert at the Kings their vehicles for mobile publicity. From small white vans to recycling vehicles, we had a remarkable opportunity to advertise the events at a scale and cost that would have been prohibitive for these charity events. Using recycling vehicles which by their nature are stop/start ensured the concert was promoted in villages, towns and cities around Wiltshire.
